Bones hold memory. Trauma, impact & shock leave their mark.

Injuries both small and large, are a part of life. 

Often we bounce back, others drag us down & some act like an invisible weight we carry for a lifetime. Unaware of how they are aging us and limiting our experiences.

Yet, it doesn't have to be that way...

When bone sustains trauma, the tissues surrounding it become contracted and reactive. They are overcharged - like a spring with too much pressure. They hold a lot of force but have nowhere to go... so it overflows into the surrounding tissues, muscles, joints and senses. This is nature's instinct to contain the threat it perceives on the trauma site. 

These trauma sites becomes guarded...

Making them reactive - while the bone that is causing it all is trapped in quarantine and cannot get out of the situation.

This creates an upset in the natural balance of the skeletal system... and nothing flows as it should.

These sites don't just affect the bone itself. They cascade through everything connected... fascia, joints, muscles, organs, meridians, even the senses. The entire body feels the interruption.

The Bone Code uses gentle, supportive touch to release these sites of trauma.

This work is soft. No aggressive adjustments. Listening to cues created by comfort positions and guiding conversation during the session.

Injury, pain, and trauma are like a combination lock. We need to bring the right pieces together in the right sequence to unlock the freedom that's been waiting beneath the restriction.

But when the right elements come together - places that were frozen suddenly discover they can breathe again.

How a Session Flows

Because the nature of every injury is different, every session is unique. However, there is a set standard of what to expect in a Bone Code session:

1. Assessment
We begin by understanding your reason for the session - physical pain, mobility restriction, post-injury recovery, chronic condition, or simply a sense that something is structurally "off." You remain fully clothed for the whole session.

2. Optimal Positioning
Based on observation and your comfort, will determine the best working position. This might be lying down, seated, standing, or a combination. Comfort is not just preference - it's information. When your body is comfortable, it reveals where the work needs to happen.

3. Identification of Skeletal Trauma Points
Using observation, touch, and awareness, sites are located where bone has been traumatized. These are often prominent bone sites (skull, clavicle, ribs, pelvis, limbs) that have taken direct impact from falls, accidents, surgery, or repetitive strain.

4. The Bone Code Method
Using gentle, intentional contact and focused awareness - we reset the trauma sites. This work moves away from pain, not into it. We support the body's natural intelligence to untangle what's been frozen in trauma response.

There is no cracking, no force, no strong adjustment. Just gentle support and the space for your bodies intelligence to do what it knows how to do.

5. Real-Time Assessment
Throughout the session, there will be check ins - testing mobility, assessing comfort, observing changes. The body speaks clearly when we know how to listen.

6. Stabilization & Closing
Once the primary work is complete. You'll receive feedback on what was found, what was released, and recommended next steps for your continued healing journey.
